The Parkway Playhouse was established in 1946, and since then we have gone on to become one of the longest running professional theatre companies in North Carolina. Each year, the Parkway Playhouse presents performances of live theatre to thousands of visitors and residents to the Mountain region of North Carolina. Our work extends well beyond the stage and into the community: our education programs reach children each year through performances and school programs. The Parkway Playhouse is dedicated to bringing excellence to audiences of today and tomorrow.
