Parkway Playhouse produces six MainStage plays per season—from April through October. Most comedies and dramas last about two hours; musicals tend to run a bit longer. We generally have one 15-minute intermission.
The first weekend of each production begins on Saturday (7:30pm) and continues the next day, Sunday (3:00pm).
The second performance weekend runs from Friday (7:30pm) through Sunday.
And the last weekend runs Friday and Saturday.
On opening night, we host a post-performance party with the cast. Everyone is invited to stay and share a glass of wine and a bite with the actors. Sundays are matinee days with actor Q&A immediately following the performance. You got a question, they got an answer. Tickets may be ordered online or by calling the box office Thursday-Saturday from 1 to 5pm at 828.682.4285.

Parkway Playhouse Junior productions are the culmination of intense workshops with the “kids.” There are 3 productions per year. Times vary (check the Junior page). Tickets are sold at the door only, no assigned seating. We recommend you get there early (box office opens an hour before showtime), get your seat, then come back out to the lobby for some popcorn and to buy a raffle ticket. Shows run between 30-90 minutes.

Get the Hook is more improv. They perform at the theatre; at NuWray Inn; on the Burnsville Town Square. And earlier this year, they did a bit ‘o Improv at Rad Dawgz, new gourmet hot dog joint in Burnsville. Check the website, facebook, instagram, read the e-blasts and blogs for announcements of their next gig.

Parkway Players is new to the Playhouse. Stay tuned for more information about this dynamic addition to our lineup.
