VOLUNTEER

The Parkway Playhouse has always had a strong volunteer Corps, but we’re always looking for new faces. Volunteers are involved in every aspect of the Parkway Playhouse’s operation.

Many of our volunteers are ushers. Our ushers work in teams based on availability or preference and most teams usher about once during the run of each production.

Requirements include arriving 1 hour before and staying 15 minutes after each play performances, the ability to stand for 30 minutes at a time and an enthusiasm for theatre. Ushers assist the theatre staff in preparing the auditorium for performances, assisting patrons to their seats, selling concessions, and answering questions.
