WIZARD OF OZ REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
Director: Jenny Martin
Younger Group Director: Erika Tyner
Music Director: Roberta Whiteside
Choreographer: Collin Eten
Ages 5-8: $175
Ages 9-18: $225
Young Dorothy Gale is swept away by a tornado from her Kansas farm to the magical land of Oz. There, she encounters a host of whimsical characters: good witches, bad witches, animals that talk, scarecrows that walk, and things magical to behold.
Students aged 5-18 are eligible to perform in The Wizard of Oz. Our younger performers (aged 5-8), will enjoy a less-intensive process, rehearsing 2 days a week with Erika Tyner and Collin Eten, as they learn music, movement, and dance. Older performers (aged 9-18) are eligible to audition for speaking (lead) roles, or be part of the ensemble. Older students rehearse 3 days a week and will learn acting, music, and dance with Jenny Martin, Roberta Whiteside, and Collin Eten. The last two weeks, students will all rehearse together, as we perfect the show for our audiences!
Please make sure to check the rehearsal schedule carefully before registering your child. Rehearsal is a collaborative process, and it is important that students attend as much as possible. The rehearsal calendar can be found here.
Registration includes 10 weeks of acting, music, and dance instruction, led by qualified instructors, and a show t-shirt!
