DANCE
Parkway School of Performing Arts Dance Philosophy
At Parkway Playhouse, we believe dance is an art form to be studied, explored, and enjoyed—not just performed. Our program is built on the belief that a strong technical foundation, creative expression, and a lifelong love of learning are the keys to becoming a confident dancer and performer. Rather than centering our year around competitions or multiple recitals, we invest our time in quality instruction, thoughtful progression, and individualized growth. Students have opportunities throughout the year to share what they’ve learned through showcases and select performance experiences, allowing them to gain valuable stage experience while keeping the focus on education. Our goal is to nurture well-rounded artists who develop discipline, confidence, creativity, and a genuine appreciation for the art of dance that will serve them both on and off the stage.
Pricing for Dance or Group Voice:
$450 for the entire year. Payment plan available. $90 down payment $51.44 per month. No registration or recital fees

Voice
Whether you’re preparing for auditions, looking to strengthen your vocal technique, or simply love to sing, Parkway Playhouse’s voice program is designed to help every student reach their full potential. Our instruction emphasizes healthy vocal production, proper breathing, musicianship, performance skills, and artistic expression through both musical theatre repertoire and classical vocal technique.
Students typically begin private lessons at age 10, although younger singers may be accepted based on their experience, readiness, and individual needs. Parkway Playhouse is proud to offer a team of four experienced voice instructors, each with their own areas of expertise. Students are thoughtfully matched with the teacher whose teaching style and specialty best support their goals and development.
Private lessons are available in 30 and 60-minute sessions, allowing students to choose the level of instruction that best fits their age, experience, and aspirations.
For students who enjoy making music with others, our Group Voice Class offers an engaging alternative. This class focuses on vocal technique in a collaborative setting while exploring choral and ensemble singing, musical theatre repertoire, harmonization, blend, musicianship, and performance skills. It’s an excellent option for singers who thrive in a group environment or wish to supplement their private study.
At Parkway Playhouse, we believe every voice is unique. Our goal is to provide excellent training in a supportive and encouraging environment where students develop confidence, artistry, and the skills to become expressive, versatile singers.
