Jenny Martin has been involved with Parkway Playhouse since she was in high school, where she started as an intern and Box Office Assistant. Jenny graduated from UNCG with a BFA in Theatre Education, and has taught Drama at East Yancey and Cane River middle schools for the past 18 years. She returned to the Parkway stage to act and direct in 2010, and has appeared in Leaving Iowa, Pride and Prejudice, Dancing at Lughnasa, Steel Magnolias, and Dixie Swim Club. She directed Seussical, Big River, Little Shop of Horrors, Blithe Spirit, and Dark of the Moon. She has taught Conservatory Classes at Parkway since 2017, and is excited to be on staff at Parkway as the Director of Education. Jenny is married to Colby Martin, and has two children, Emerson (9) and Juliet (6).

Mara (she/they) is a technical theatre enthusiast and a North Carolina local. She graduated from McDaniel College in 2020 with a major in history and minors in theatre and Arabic. She has had the pleasure of volunteering and working with Parkway Playhouse since 2018. She is excited to help Parkway Playhouse grow as the new Production and Facilities Manager. She is thrilled to collaborate with such an amazing community of artists!

Jaquie is a playwright and theatremaker who is happy to join the team at Parkway as the new Operations Manager. She is a Florida transplant hoping to put down roots in the Appalachian arts community. She is excited to learn and grow alongside the Playhouse.

Cheyenne is a theatre marketer, photographer, graphic designer, and playwright in WNC with over a decade of experience in the theatre industry. She’s so grateful to be a part of the Parkway Playhouse team. She’s also a proud Appalachian and is thrilled for the opportunity to create Parkway Playhouse’s Appalachian Playwriting Festival!
