2025 SEASON AUDITIONS

What are these auditions for?

These auditions will be for our 2025 Mainstage Season, our 2025 Reading Is Alive! performances, and our 2025 Appalachian Playwriting Festival.

When and where will these auditions be?

Auditions will take place on January 18, 2025 from 10am-4pm; and January 19, 2025 from 1pm-5pm at The Mountain Heritage Center located at 113 Green Mountain Dr, Burnsville, NC 28714 (Across the street from Parkway Playhouse).

What should I prepare for these auditions?

Please come prepared with a one-minute monologue (not necessarily from the show being cast), 32 bars of sheet music for an accompanist for a musical audition (musical pieces from the show we are casting are acceptable, but not required), a resume, and a headshot. If you’re new to performing and don’t have the above items, no worries! Just come prepared to read sides. Sides are excerpts from the script.

What if I can’t make it to auditions?

We’re accepting video submissions through the end of the day on January 19, 2025. Please send your submission to [email protected].

Are these paid roles?

Yes. All roles will be paid a small stipend.

Are you still accepting resumes for creative teams?

Yes. We’re always accepting resumes. If we don’t have a place for you this season, we’ll add you to our list of people to reach out to in the future. Please send all resumes to [email protected].
