2025-26 CLASSES & CAMPS
HADESTOWN TEEN EDITION
December 13, 2025-April 25, 2026. Ages 14-18. $350.
This intriguing and beautiful folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone – Hadestown invites audiences on a journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Mitchell’s beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love. View Casting/Rehearsal Information.
ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR
February 1-May 9, 2026. Ages 10-18. $350
Fall down the rabbit hole with Alice as she navigates the curious world of Wonderland on a journey of self-discovery. This 60-minute stage adaptation of the classic Disney animated film and the Lewis Carroll stories makes a triumphant return to the Broadway Junior® catalogue, with an updated script and score made specifically for today’s young performers. When young Alice finds herself in a strange world where everything seems upside down, she must find her way home…and find herself along the way. As she travels through Wonderland, she encounters all of the iconic characters that audiences have come to love: including the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the grinning Cheshire Cat, a cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter, and the hot-tempered Queen of Hearts. This class will focus on all things Musical Theater! Students will have the opportunity to learn songs and dances from some of the best family friendly musicals. Emphasis will be placed on learning how to hold harmonies, perfecting basic dance steps and understanding what it means to be “show ready”. We will build upon our current repertoire of songs and add in new ones as we prepare for performance opportunities throughout the year. No audition required.
DISNEY’S FINDING NEMO KIDS
June 8-20, 2026.
Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
MEAN GIRLS JR
July 6-19, 2026. Ages 12-18.
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Cady and her friends devise a “Revenge Party” to end Regina’s reign with Cady going undercover as an aspiring Plastic. When the lines between the real Cady and her Plastic self get blurred, she must find her way back to herself and her true friends.

“My favorite part of being involved with the Parkway Playhouse is that we are a teaching institution, which allows me to work in my two favorite realms: theater and education.”
“My favorite thing about being at Parkway is definitely the people. We have such a strong family-like bond, and we’re always there for each other. I wouldn’t trade the memories or bonds that I have created since joining for anything!”
“The thing I love most about parkway is the community it’s created for so many of us. As an angsty teenager, it gave me a place to express myself openly and freely, and now as an adult it allows to me to continue making the art that I enjoy so much.
“I love the atmosphere of the Playhouse. It is such a beautiful building filled with life and energy. I love watching kids learn and grow and fall in love with theater.”
