Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical is showing here at Parkway Playhouse June 20-July 6, 2025. We reached out to actor Gabbi Austin, who portrays Eric, about her experience working on this production.
What’s your favorite part of this show and why?
Getting to hang out with my friends that do parkway and getting to do something in my free time.
What’s your favorite book and why?
Wings of Fire because of the imagination behind the story it’s self I love story’s where someone can use their imagination.
How excited are you to be working with this incredible cast?
Very excited as this is my first MainStage show and the people here are great.
What have you loved about working on this production?
Getting to work with the amazing cast and crew.
How did you get into theatre?
My neighbor had told me about theater and said that I might like it and it has made a big impact on my life.
What’s your favorite thing to do in the area?
I enjoy going to the river with my family.
What have you loved so far about working with Parkway Playhouse?
I have loved working with the amazing cast crew and director.
